Wildlife Observation Hut

The natural experience as a designed product: in the Netherlands it's often impossible to draw the boundary between natural and artificial. An observation hut made out of scrap wood provides the public (the impatient urbanite), from a freely accessible tower in public space, with a programmed look at the 'wild' nature of the Rotterdam Zoo.

Reprise:
The observation hut was transported in 1 night to het Wilgenterrein in the north of Rotterdam were it stood till a storm took it down. Its remains were recycled into a new project on the location.
